Since the date today is 9/9/09... it would've been cool to post at either the morning or the evening at the time of 9:09:09 LOL
Forgive my bad segue to:
Ah, The Magic of Numbers... the Asian cultures dread the number 4 as it's an homophone for 'death'. Superstitious people dread the number 13.
The Chinese MA is abound with the numbers 3, 5, 8, 13, 36 and 108 (did I miss any?). The Filipino MA have 12. It is said that Alexander the Great (or in his time) found that 'chunking' techniques in factors of 3 was useful for soldiers (or something along those lines). Dr. Gyi's Bando teaches in 3, 6, 9, and 12. IIRC the Thai MA teaches in 4 and 7's.
Don't think "Numberology" is a word, but I mean it to be the significance of numbers, especially with respect to the Martial Arts. I know there is "Numerology" which I vaguely think to be the study of numbers in relation to astrology/supernatural/zodiac... you get the idea.
Will have to research into the Martial Arts and the Significance of Numbers. Some future post in my Sojourn of Septillion Steps :-)
wow! go figure.

DENVER - It may be a cliché, but the Eichman family was on cloud nine Wednesday.
Cheryl and Aaron Eichman welcomed their firstborn son at 9:09 a.m. on 9/09/09 at Exempla St. Joseph Hospital.
"It was completely random that he was born at the time and day that he was," Cheryl Eichman said.
Cheryl's due date was more than a week ago, on Sept. 1, but she had labor induced Tuesday morning at 7:30.
She was in labor for nearly 26 hours before delivering baby Ezekiel Wednesday morning via c-section, and the doctors were surprised when they announced the time of birth.
"I hear the doctor say, 'Hey, your son is born at 9:09 in the morning.' And I just kind of started laughing hysterically," Aaron Eichman said. "The nurses couldn't believe what was going on and the doctor looked at the other doctor in the room and said, 'Hey did you plan this?' And the doctor said, 'No it was just kind of random.'"
Based on the way the day was shaping up, the Eichmans say they almost expected Ezekiel to weigh 9 pounds, but he came in four ounces shy, at 8 pounds, 12 ounces.
Over in Wheat Ridge, there was a 9-pounder born at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center on Wednesday. Luke Golden was born to Cathleen and Zack Golden of Denver at 1 p.m. It was their fifth child.
Coloradans celebrate 9th, 99th birthdays on 9/9/09
A handful of people celebrated landmark birthdays on Wednesday as well.
Ciarra Ceja turned 9 years old on Wednesday. As seen on 9NEWS at 6 a.m., she rang in her birthday with nine pancakes and nine candles at Snooze in Denver. Although she admitted she didn't know what to expect once she got to school, she said the pancakes looked "yummylicious."
Ciarra shared her birthday breakfast with 9NEWS Reporter Jamie Kim who, oddly enough, was celebrating her birthday as well.
Meanwhile, up in Boulder, Dorothy Hicks was celebrating her 99th birthday. Hicks' schedule was packed on her special day and she had several parties thrown in her honor to attend.
Hicks' family says the former school teacher is funny, smart and energetic and has traveled the world.
Up in Loveland, Ruth Bronson celebrated her 99th birthday on Wednesday as well. Her family says she's lived in Colorado all her life and raised four children and has 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
