i am no writer ... i am no poet ... a poem I wrote a few months ago about my inconsistent training and getting back onto The Path.

here goes:

For I Have Strayed From the Path


For I have strayed from the Path...
Marriage, Fatherhood, Career,
Weak mind, Weak body, Weak spirit!
Excuses ... all!
Forge myself I must!

For I have strayed from the Path...
Wise friends counsel:
"Do not chastise yourself!"; "Do not regret!";
"Do what you can, when you can!"
Forge myself I must!!

For I have strayed from the Path...
Sojourn of Septillion Steps
begins with but a Single Step.
Excuses, Regrets - Begone!
Forge myself I must!!!
