Happy 62nd Birthday Lo Mang (生日快樂羅莽)!!
When martial artists are asked, "What is their all-time favorite oldschool movie?", I would venture a guess of 65% (if not more) naming Five Venoms as their all-time fave. I am posting this movie in honor of the birthday boy, The Toad!
What is your favorite Lo Mang scene in Five Venoms? Fave Lo Mang movie? Want to wish him a Happy Birthday? Please leave a comment.
Enjoy!
Five Venoms aka Five Deadly Venoms (1978)
Chinese: 五毒

Plot: (As if you don't know this plot :-)
A dying teacher instructs his 6th and last student to track down his five former pupils, each of whom he taught a unique and special style of kung-fu to: Centipede, Snake, Scorpion, Lizard, and Toad. The final student, who is like a jack-of-all-trades, knows a little of each of the five styles must team up with one of the other good students to destroy the evil ones if there are any. Greed and treachery ensue as the student discovers that some of the students are indeed evil. The challenge is that each student doesn't know the other students as they trained at different times. The teacher didn't know them either as they all wore masks. Which one can the 6th student trust enough to team up with?
