It is with sadness I report that Supreme Grandmaster Ciriaco "Cacoy" Canete has passed at the age of 96 in the Phillipines at 8:08PM.
SGM Canete was the last surviving member of the Doce Pares Eskrima Club which was founded in Jan. 1932. I'm posting some Eskrido videos below in his honor.
My deepest condolences to the Canete family and to Doce Pares practitioners.
